An Injured Burglar will Sue You – A Dead One Can’t!
Its been 10 days since we discovered we had been burgled. We slept through as the thieves went through our stuff, deciding what they wanted, and what they didn’t.
Today, I discovered that the shed had also been visited that night. Would you believe that not only did they lock the shed after themselves, but the police told me on the day that it was unusual for burglars to do a shed over while stealing from a house. Wish I had checked then for a lack of bicycle!
Anyway, having put various new locks and security devices in place, I know that its a case of using horse, cart, bolted, and various easy idioms. What I need is a proper deterrent….
F0ul Thoughts 
Did you hear the story about the family who returned from vacation to find that their house had been emptied in their absence? Very little left, but, a 35mm camera was still on the floor. A half a roll of film had been used up. They didn’t have the pics developed until about six weeks later when the rest of the shots were taken. (Hind sight is 20/20) No pun intended. When the photos came back, there were shots of the burglar’s squatting down, naked and had the homeowners toothbrushes protruding from their alimentary canal(s). Now, THAT would be grounds for hunting them down and hanging them. I bet you wouldn’t even be indicted. (Supposed to be a true story, but you never know.)
